Earning your Bachelor of Science (BS) in History/Social Studies Education degree at App State will help you make history, as well as critical public government issues, come to life for your students.

By studying the past, you are better able to understand and communicate the importance of issues in our contemporary world. You will take part in a variety of training and experiences focused on historical thinking, inquiry and teaching, as well as digital competency and global learning.

Applied learning is a big part of what our future teachers do at App State. All of our teacher education degrees have classroom experience built into them, equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you ready to enter the classroom prepared to enlighten, educate and inspire.
