App State’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutrition and Foods - Dietetics degree is your pathway to serve as a competent expert in translating the science of food and nutrition to the enhancement of the health and well-being of individuals and groups, and to the development of food consumer products and services for the public.
The Dietetics concentration meets the requirements to prepare students for entrance into a dietetic internship, which, when combined with a master’s degree, puts you on a path toward becoming a registered dietitian (RD).
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment in this career field to grow 7% in the next decade, with an average annual salary of nearly $70,000.
The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics, the accrediting agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
