If you want to learn about sustainability, why not do it in the country’s first sustainable development program? For more than 30 years, App State has been dedicated to developing leaders in sustainable development. You can be a part of the next generation.

Make the connection between business, environmental science and social systems with App State’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sustainable Development - Community, Regional and Global Development.

Learn business skills through a sustainability lens with courses in environmental science and policy, the economics of sustainability, systems thinking, natural resource management, corporate social responsibility, climate change and more. You will learn to analyze how diverse social and economic systems work, the principles on which they are based and how they affect human well-being, environments and equity.
