Costs and Aid

Enhance lives and empower communities.

Designed for those interested in improving the health and wellness of communities, App State’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health degree program prepares you to work as a public health practitioner in various health-related settings, including community-based organizations, government agencies, behavioral health agencies, primary care centers and global or domestic nonprofit organizations.

These jobs are in demand: The World Health Organization predicts a shortfall of 10 million health care workers in the next decade. This field needs educated, experienced workers like you.

You will have opportunities to conduct research alongside your professors, contribute to finding innovative solutions for regional and national problems and publish and present your findings in journals and conferences.

Applied learning is a big part of what our future public health professionals do at App State. Our Public Health degree has internship experience built into it, equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you ready to enter the workforce prepared to educate and inspire.
