As careers in human performance, fitness and health continue to grow, people are turning to exercise professionals for expert guidance — and you could be one of them.

With your Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology - Exercise Science from App State, you will find yourself equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to assess and monitor clients in a variety of health, wellness and fitness careers, such as health educator, personal trainer or exercise physiologist.

You’ll gain a solid foundation in kinesiology — the study of human movement — by exploring the scientific principles that govern human movement, health and physical activity and analyzing how the body responds and adapts to physical stress. The degree program also prepares you for graduate study in such fields as occupational therapy, athletic training, public health, speech-language pathology and more.
