Become an international agent for good.

Build a foundation of knowledge on the criminal justice system with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice-International Studies degree from App State. This program provides you the opportunity to study issues of crime and justice that are critical to the functioning of a healthy society.

You will gain an understanding of the criminal justice system, its stakeholders and the interaction and influence of foreign countries and governments. In addition to your criminal justice classes, you’ll also take courses with an international focus in political science, religion and languages that will give you a broad perspective of how integral criminal justice is to cultures around the world.

Empowered with a wide variety of skills, including policy analysis, government relations, ethical management and leadership, graduates emerge from our program as voices for positive change. With this degree, you will be qualified to elevate your career in such fields as protective services, law and corrections, crime-related prevention and support, security management, court administration and social services.
