App State’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry - Certified Chemist is your pathway to becoming a practicing chemist or starting a career in scientific research at government or industry labs. This degree track is certified by the American Chemical Society.

Chemists learn best in a lab setting, and App State’s degree program will challenge you to reach far beyond classroom chemistry theory and experimentation — you’ll quickly learn your way around our advanced labs and equipment, with research time being spent alongside faculty and creatively exploring chemistry’s real-world applications.
