This program offers a comprehensive yet flexible curriculum in biological sciences, providing you with a thorough understanding of biology while allowing you to tailor your studies to meet your personal and professional goals.
Because of its flexibility, this degree is ideal if you wish to pursue a second major, combining the study of biology with another subject area.
You will be well prepared to pursue a career in fields such as allied health, environmental science, health care administration, education, public health, scientific sales, physical therapy, science communication, as well as other fields that require a strong foundation in biology.
App State’s Department of Biology has 23 state-of-the-art research facilities to further your development as a biologist.
All Biology students may apply to the biology honors program, which includes two research courses and an honors thesis.
