About
Appalachian’s Planning Certificate coursework is designed to provide students who do not wish to earn an entire master’s degree – or who already have the master’s – with the opportunity to gain skills in geospatial applications of planning.
The certificate requires 18 hours of coursework, and is usually completed while enrolled in a degree program.
The certificate is offered periodically off campus to allow interested students to try coursework with the intent to apply for the MA program in Geography.
