At 11:38pm on Saturday, Nov. 30, App State Police received a phone call requesting police response to New River Hall and threatening to harm residents of the residence hall. App State Police were on scene at New River Hall by 11:41pm. Police searched all levels of the interior and exterior of the building, and the surrounding areas, and confirmed the details of the call to be a hoax.
