Autism Graduate Certificate

About

The prevalence of autism diagnoses is on the rise, highlighting the need for educators to access up-to-date information, strategies and support in implementing evidence-based practices within schools and communities. App State's Autism Graduate Certificate program is designed to equip educators with the expertise to address the diverse needs of autistic individuals.

Through this comprehensive program, students are empowered with evidence-based practices, effective communication techniques and specialized teaching skills tailored for autistic students. Graduates develop proficiency in delivering individualized instruction, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive. Additionally, students will gain valuable insights into the unique strengths and perspectives of autistic people, enabling them to become effective advocates and educators in their communities.
